Concho Drive, are in Tom Green County in lieu of $40,000 bail each, which was set by Peace Justice Ruth Nicholson on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, amphetamine.

According to a police report, a team of officers went to the motel about 11 a.m. Friday with a search warrant issued by Mrs. Nicholson on the basis of confidential information developed by the task force. Pool Company to lay off 20 workers Pool Company, with West Texas Region headquarters in San Angelo, has announced plans to lay off about 20 employees in reducing its manufacturing and repair support facilities. The layoffs were required because of the continuation of depressed markets, said James Bomar, regional vice president. The firm's human resources department will provide opportunities for transfer and relocation within its various operations wherever possible, Bomar said.

Job search training and career counseling are being provided for employees unable to relocate, or who choose not to transfer. Recent attempts to sell the company by ENSERCH, its parent company, were deferred in April until "a reasonable market value could be receiv. ed," according to an ENSERCH spokesman. To all customers of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company: Public Notice On March 14, 1989, Southwestern Bell Telephone Company filed with the Public Utility Commission of Texas an application which proposes to revise its Toll Restriction Tariff in Section 21 of the General Exchange Tariff.

The Commission received the application as Docket No. 8700. The application proposes to reduce the monthly rate for Toll Restriction residence service from the current $15 a month to $5 a month per residence access line.
