A new year is a perfect time for a fresh start. What better way to celebrate than a fresh fruit co*cktail or mocktail?

Fresh Apple Pie Martini: A co*cktail and Mocktail Recipe (3)

Made with juiced Fuji apples from Sage Fruit, this Fresh Apple Pie Martini combines cinnamon, lemon juice, and vodka with fresh apple juice for a sweet, crisp, and balanced flavor. Simply leave out the vodka and non-drinkers and kids can join the toast, too.

Making a Fresh Apple Pie Martini

Send a signal that this new year is a fresh start with fresh fruit! Yes, you could use apple schnapps to make a Fresh Apple Pie Martini, but real, fresh Fuji apples are what makes this co*cktail so special. When you use fresh apples, you’ll give your co*cktail or mocktail a richer flavor and more substance.

Both the co*cktail and mocktail version tastes just like fresh apple pie, but without the hours spent in the kitchen baking! From young to old, everyone is sure to love this drink given that Apple Pie is one of everyone’s favorite pies!

Serve your co*cktails in traditional martini glasses. If you make a mocktail version for your kids, you may find that a stemless martini glass (or traditional juice glass) is easier for them to sip from without spilling.

A cinnamon stick makes the perfect garnish for this drink. Use it as a stirrer before you plop it in the drink to help diffuse the flavor. A cinnamon-sugared rim will give Fresh Apple Pie Martini a sweet visual appeal that adds to the fresh pie taste.

Finally, garnish each glass with a slice of Fuji apple. Dunk each apple slice in a bit of lemon juice to help prevent them from browning.
